DAY 1 : CASABLANCA - MEKNES –VOLUBILIS - FES
We departure from Casablanca to Fes, upon arrival visit the medina of Fes declared by the UNESCO world heritage,visit the palaces, Kasbahs, jewish quarter, gardens… overnight in Fes.
DAY 2 : FES-SAHARA DESERT IN MERZOUGA
Drive from Fes via the cleanest city of Ifrane in the feet of the middle atlas, then reach the ‘’ceder gourou’’ forest with its oldest tree in Morocco , and the home of macaques families, benefit from stops for photo of the beautiful scenery of the oued ziz one of the most important caravan routes , arrival to erfoud and sijilmassa the oldest village of Morocco and the starter point of the ‘’ALAOUITE’’ dynasties. After reaching the golden dunes of merzouga enjoy a camel ride during the sunset, overnight in a berber nomadic tent.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA- TOUDGHA GORGES- OUARZAZATE
After enjoying a memorable sunrise take the way direction to the famous canyons of toudgha where a free time will be offered to walk around the golden mountains forming these canyons, then continue the way to the film industry town of Ouarzazate visit the amredil Kasbah , the film studios, and overnight.
DAY 4 : OUARZAZATE- AITBENHADDOU-ATLAS MOUNTAINS-MARRAKECH
Today we drive via the ancient caravan pass routes to visit the famous AITBENHADDOU Kasbah a home of dozen of films such as LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, MUMMY, CLEOPATRA, GLADIATOR… visit this UNESCO site and then continue to cross the highest pass road in north Africa the TIZIN-TICHKA pass 2260 m alt. with spectacular views of the mountains and berber villages, arrival to Marrakech and transfer to your hotel, riad, airport or elsewhere on request.
